The Insights-X team attended the 70th Spielwarenmesse in person! With their own information booth, the Insight-X representatives informed interested visitors and exhibitors at the Spielwarenmesse about the expo's concept and all it has to offer in the way of paper, office supplies and stationery. And visitors to the stand appreciated the chance to discuss topics related to the paper, office supplies and stationery expo direct with their contact persons in Nuremberg. Just like the paper, office supplies and stationery expo itself, the stand also invited people to take part and become creative between 30 January and 3 February 2019.
Interested exhibitors and visitors allowed themselves a little break in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of the fair and let their minds wander as they coloured in postcards. The postcards had slogans printed on them such as "I love PBS" (PBS is the German abbreviation for paper, office supplies and stationery) and were designed by Nuremberg-based calligrapher Hannah Rabenstein.
At this year's Insights-X information booth, the lightning sketcher Dao Ngoc Mai surprised visitors with her unique pictures. Live at the expo, she drew miniature pictures in a comic style, which guests could then take home as a personal souvenir.
Even as far back as her kindergarten days, at the tender age of 4, Dao Ngoc Mai noticed that she could do one thing a bit better than the other children: drawing. At the age of 17, her doodle won the Doodle 4 Google competition for the 2008 European Football Championship and graced the search engine site for an entire weekend. From 2011 to 2014, she studied Graphic Design at the Hamburg Academy of Design, focusing on illustration. Influenced by the drawing style of mangas, the native of Dresden with Vietnamese roots made 400 miniature images at the Insights-X stand during the Spielwarenmesse 2019.
For many visitors to the stand, the miniature images are a pleasant anticipation of the paper, office supplies and stationery expo from 9 to 12 October 2019 – because a lot more hands-on activities and good discussions await the participants there.
