Every professional and educational activity has special requirements when it comes to ergonomic workplace design. The environment and products should provide optimal support for working and learning and minimise physical strain as much as possible. The topic of ergonomics is also becoming increasingly important for manufacturers in the stationery sector. To further this development, Insights-X, together with the renowned IGR (Institute for Health and Ergonomics), will present the Special Award Ergonomics to outstanding ergonomic products in the two categories "Writing Instruments" and "(School) Bags and Backpacks". The aim is to make more companies aware of the topic of ergonomics and to encourage manufacturers to strive for the highest quality standards in ergonomic products.
Renowned manufacturers have applied for the award again this year. The nominees for the two categories have already been determined. Which product will be awarded the prize will be decided on 7 October 2021. As part of their application, the manufacturers were not only able to describe their products comprehensively, but also explain what ergonomics means to their company and why they optimise product development in this respect. We have picked out a few interesting statements for you.
"Ergonomics is our passion! As a family business, we place great value on health in everyday life and ergonomics is an essential aspect of this.
